My adventure started in 2011 when I decided to live in Venice. I wrote a book called “Venice as I Love It” and then started to create my own Venetian collections of jewelry, table linens and hand-blown glass from Murano
“Venice as I Love It” is available in 3 languages (English, French and Italian), published by Elzeviro Editions with gorgeous illustrated watercolors by Aurore de la Morinerie. The book includes all of my favorite local places and those of my Venetian friends!

Joyful Stripe Collection II
This series is a continuation of the Joyful Stripe Collection I. Colourful hand-blown opaque glass done in the cane method. Realised by glassmakers in Murano, I added a “fil rouge” (red border) and used thinner cane stripes, in 12 color variations. Each piece is unique and varies slightly in form and pattern but that is the beauty of hand made!

These colorful striped vases, designed in 2022 and inspired by the shape of a work of Carlo Scarpa from the 1950s, are available in two sizes (15 cm and 20 cm). Blown by hand in the Murano workshop, each piece is unique and comes in warm, vibrant colors.

Joyful Stripe Collection I
Inspired by the 1930s Venini cane glass bowls and the Melon porcelain by Joseph Hoffmann, this is a collection of colourful hand-blown opaque glass done in the classic cane method and realized by glassmakers in Murano. More than 150 color variations and combinations were chosen and designed by France Thierard. Each piece is unique and varies slightly in form and pattern but that is also the beauty of them!

Au fil de l’eau
This collection is inspired by the coffee tables of the 1960s made for the Excelsior Hotel Bar on the Lido and by the French ceramic “Terres mêlées”. The marble inspired design is blown and realized by a master glassmaker in Murano. Each hand-made piece is unique and available in various shapes and colors.

These colorful opaque glass vases, designed in 2020, are inspired by vases from the 1950s. Each piece is handblown - therefore, one-of-a-kind - by glassmakers in their Murano workshop and available in a variety of radiant colors.
